As we say goodbye to 2024 and begin a new year, I want to take a moment to show appreciation for the many community-based organizations working in the Second District. From non-profits and chambers of commerce to places of worship, their contributions to our communities have created positive change. Whether supporting working families, improving community health, or serving seniors and children, I am inspired by the commitment and dedication of their leaders, staff, and volunteers. I want to thank them for their perseverance and the significant contributions they have made to better our neighborhoods. I've had the opportunity to collaborate with many community organizations to provide essential services to our families. My office strives to build partnerships because we know that we achieve greater transformation by collaborating with those already making a difference in our community. I am honored by their support, and their passion fuels my commitment to working together to make the Second District a brighter and safer place for everyone.
